Recoveries of Black-headed Gulls (Larus ridibundus L.) from Rétszilas, Hungary Download full article: [pdf] (249 Kb) Abstract: The 105 recoveries of Black-headed Gulls (Larus ridibundus L.) from Rétszilas-őrspuszta Fishponds (Central Transdanubia) were analysed. The birds have been marked as chicks since 1938. The main wintering grounds of Black-headed Gulls from Rétszilas are the lagoons of Gulf of Venice and the Po River Estuary, although birds migrated as far as North Africa (Tunisia, Algeria), Spain and Greece. | ||
